Have you ever considered getting more involved with your community and working to "bring out the best in kids"?   If so, then consider learning more about the Optimist Club of Jasper!
The Optimist Club of Jasper is having a N. (New) O. (Optimists) W. Upcoming activities for the club include the annual Essay Contest in January and Oratorical Contest being held March 5 as well as the annual STAR Student and Teacher banquet on February 25.  The club is also making plans for their annual Flapjack Run on April 23, Respect for the Law recognition in May, and Scholarship Golf Tournament on May 11th at Bent Tree.   The club also sponsors 3 Junior Optimist Clubs at Jasper Middle School, Pickens County Middle School and Wildwood Christian Academy.
